The Canary Islands – 7 Days, 6 Nights Onboard a 58’ Sailing Yacht

CANARY ISLAND TRANQUILITY:

Sail into the Extraordinary

Have the urge to answer the ocean's call and sail off to someplace quieter, away from the usual bustle of busy beaches? Well, guess what? There's actually a 52-foot stunner of a yacht moored in Tenerife, just revving to set sail on this Canary Islands tour. Over seven fantastic days, you'll have a skilled Skipper, who's also a top-notch Chief Experience Officer, showing you the ropes and guiding you to tucked-away coves and charming coastal towns across Tenerife, La Gomera, and La Palma.

Sound like a plan? I think so too. So, let's take a closer look at the adventures that await you.

WELCOME

New Friends, Open Seas, and Unforgettable Nights Await…

Set off on an adventure where the ocean breeze beckons and camaraderie is born amidst the rolling waves. As you embark from San Miguel Marina in Tenerife with a skipper and a new crew of friends, the excitement is palpable. Together, you'll provision the yacht with a bounty of food for your seafaring week ahead. Share the thrill of setting sail to La Gomera, where island explorations by day lead to cozy nights on the shell-shaped bay.

Life at sea is as versatile as the ever-changing tides. Whether you choose to steer under the watchful eye of your skipper or bask in leisure on deck, each day is a dance with the ocean's rhythm. Glide towards La Palma, Santa Cruz's beckoning shores, and La Gomera's inviting waters, your eyes peeled for the marine life teeming below. Ashore, dive into local culture and gorgeous volcanic vistas, or linger in idyllic beachfronts with a coffee in hand.

As daylight gives way to evening, your yacht transforms into a floating haven under the celestial tapestry of Europe's clearest skies. Here, among the constellations, connections flourish—new friendships anchored by shared meals under starlight. In these marine-rich corridors, the ocean brims with majestic whales and playful dolphins, a testament to nature's enduring spectacle.

Embark on this stunning voyage where each moment spent at sea or on land is a cherished drop in the ocean of memories you'll create.

TRIP DETAILS

The Itinerary — Where Hidden Coves and Quaint Villages Await.

This trip includes 7 days & 6 nights

DAY 1, MARCH 8TH: Isla de Tenerife

The adventure begins today. Feel free to explore, but make sure you're back in time to meet the group. Your G Representative will review the details of your tour. Arrive to the boat at 4pm for a welcome meeting and safety briefing. Settle into your cabins before heading ashore to pick up supplies for your upcoming adventure.

DAY 2, MARCH 9TH: Isla de Tenerife to San Sebastián de la Gomera

Set off on your first day of sailing from the island of Tenerife to La Gomera Island. Arrive to San Sebastian La Gomera in the afternoon and explore inland on the island and the national park. Opt to go for a gentle hike, enjoy the scenery at a local alfresco café, or explore the historical town of San Sebastian on your own. Meet up with your Skipper and group for dinner in the evening, and if you're feeling like some local nightlife you can stay out on the town after or head back to the yacht for an early night.

DAY 3, MARCH 10TH: San Sebastián de la Gomera/Santa Cruz de la Palma

With a long day at sea today you will have time to practice your skills at sailing the boat, cooking lunch on the hoof (eating while on the move), or simply rest up below deck. Arrive in Santa Cruz de la Palma in the early evening where you can begin to explore its variety of bars and cafés or just relax for the evening on deck.

DAY 4, MARCH 11TH : Santa Cruz de la Palma

Make the most of a full free day to explore the capital city of La Palma Island. Full of museums, architecture, and centuries-old historical sites, the cobblestone streets of Santa Cruz are full of activity. Spend the day ashore to discover and explore the lively city of Santa Cruz de la Palma. Visit the colourful Avenida Maritima, the impressive Iglesia del Salvador or wander the cobblestone streets surrounded by 15th century architecture. Finish the day at one of the many quaint bars and restaurants.

A local guide can be arranged, or your Skipper can give you tips on the best things to see and do.

DAY 5, MARCH 12TH: Santa Cruz de la Palma to La Gomera

Set off early back to the island of La Gomera, this time exploring the island from the comfort of the yacht. Find several isolated anchorages, enjoy walks on the beach, and swim/snorkel right off the boat.

Join your fellow travelers and enjoy the team effort of cooking a meal onboard, and eat alfresco under the stars miles from anywhere. If weather permitting, tonight will will be spent on anchor, so sit in the cockpit and gaze at the stars, or play some fun games with your fellow travelers while enjoying the wilderness.

DAY 6, MARCH 13TH: La Gomera to Los Cristianos

Arrive in Los Cristianos in time for lunch. In the afternoon enjoy swimming in the famous bay, or go ashore to wander the waterfront.
